Add email address to existing Agent

Enter an email address for a user in MicrOpay to apply the same permissions or access in Evo, so that the user has access to data in Evo

In preparation for the upcoming Evo security release, you can add email addresses to your Agents, so that the same access permissions in MicrOpay are applied in Evo. Updating existing agents now will ensure a smooth transition for the change. If email addresses aren't included in the agent setup in MicrOpay, the user won't have access to data in Evo once the release is applied.

Note: Evo users don't require a MicrOpay agent. You will be able to add permissions to their Evo user.

Considerations

  • You will only be able to access Agent Administration if you have Administrator access.

  • The email address entered must be unique for each user and should match the email they use to log into Evo.

  • Admin users can have an email address entered as well; they will have access to all payroll companies and frequencies in Evo.

Update an existing agent

  1. Log in as an Administrator.

  2. Go to Access MicrOpay Evo Administration, Agent Administration, Agents.

  3. Edit the agent you want to update.

  4. On the Contact tab, enter the email address they use to log into Evo. The email address must be unique for each user.

  5. Review the Payroll tab for access permissions (payroll company and frequency).

  6. Click OK to save the changes.

  7. Repeat these steps for any other agents that require an email address.
