What a user can see when they are logged into ESS is based on the Role that they have been assigned and the Permissions granted to that Role.

To check the permissions for each role:
Go to Settings, Roles & Permissions.
Click on the Role you want to review.
Each Permission can have one of three options:
Deny
View
Edit
To change permissions, click Edit in the top right corner.
Then click the permission level icon and select the new permission level.
Click Save in the top right when finished.
If a role has View permission for View Directory under Global, then the employee will have Directory on their Dashboard. The Directory provides a list of all employees and gives them access to their work details, including employees from other teams in the business.

If View Directory has Deny for the role, then the employee won't have Directory on their Dashboard. However, all members will have All Team Members on their Dashboard. This enables them to see the work details of employees in the team(s) that they have been assigned.
