When Permissions for Work Contact Details have been set to Deny for a Role, the user also won't be able to edit Personal Contact Details. You need to change the Permissions for Work Contact Details so that the user can update Personal Contact Details. Making this change will mean that all users with the Role can access Work Contact Details. You can revert the Permissions to Deny once the user has changed their Personal Contact Details if you don't want others to be able to access Work Contact Details.
Before starting the steps below, you need to know which Role to update. If the employee is trying to change their own details, this will be their Member Role. If they are trying to update on behalf of another employee, this will be a Manager or Administrator Role. You can see which Roles a user has been assigned by reviewing Teams & Roles on the user's Profile.
To update the Role in MicrOpay ESS:
Go to Settings, Roles & Permissions.
Select the Role to change.
Click Edit in the top right.
Select either View or Edit from the drop-down list when you click the Permission icon for Work Contact.
Click Save in the top right.
