STP Reporting stuck at Pending status

Event in STP Reporting is still pending, or not connecting to the ATO Gateway

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can do STP Reporting when the following environmental items are configured correctly:

  • TLS 1.2 security channel for web services is enabled by default on all involved operating systems and .NET Framework 4.5 or above is present (client, application server, SQL host server).

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage MicrOpay\MCS\MicropayClientServicesService.exe is allowed and can communicate to SQL server and to superchoice.com.au domain and 20.37.216.120 via port 443 (i.e. whitelisting in firewall, proxy, and anti-virus is required)

  • STP credentials are correct, and the account is not locked

Our support team are not server administrators or network engineers, therefore, we cannot advise you how to manually configure the above, as it will be specific to your environment and operating systems.

Our troubleshooting options are usually limited to installing the application directly on the SQL host server and testing the connection there to isolate communication to the SQL server.

We recommend isolating the issue by confirming the following:

  1. Install the MicrOpay Evo client directly on the SQL Server.

  2. Ensure you disable all firewalls/anti-virus for this action.

  3. Log in as Agent Admin.

  4. Test the STP connection.

  5. Then run STP Reporting to check if the report status is still stuck at pending. The message should read as Successful connection if the above has been confirmed.

Note: Please make sure that you are running a supported version of Microsoft SQL Server and Operating System.

If the problem persists, please raise a case online and reference the title of this article.
