You may receive this error if the data you're submitting fails ATO validation or if there is a disruption in the connection. To check your employee data:
Go to Common, IQ.
Double click on IQB-STP - STP Audit Report.
Enter 1 (True) in Value for Include Terminated and click OK.
This will produce a list of employees who don't meet the ATO Validation. Take a note of the employees and messages or use Save Grid to export the records.
Go to Payroll, Maintenance, Employees, Employees.
Find each employee on the IQ and correct the error.
Once all records have been updated, go to Payroll, Transactions, Import and Export, STP Reporting.
Select the Pay Event and click Report to ATO.
If no employees appear on the IQ Report or the above doesn't resolve this error, there could be a disruption in the connection or a connection timeout. For further investigation, raise a case online, refer to this article in your case and include the steps you have completed.
To resend, use STP Update. Refer to STP Update for further information.
Note: STP Events can take up to 72 hours to be processed. If your STP Event has a status of Received at Gateway - awaiting response, you should check the status at a later point in time.
