MicrOpay ESS - Associated Team in ESS

I can't see the profiles of my Indirect or Associated Team Members.

An Associated Team is an indirect reporting team. A Manager will have an association with a Team when a member of their team manages another Team. This will be their Associated Team.


A manager cannot view the profiles of the Associated Team Members, but they can use Reports to view employees' leave balances, upcoming leave or Medical and Emergency contact details. To do this:

  1. Go to Teams.

  2. Click on the ellipsis (three dots) button to the right of the Team, or for all employees, use Directory.

  3. Select the leave report to run. You can select from:

    • Leave history report

    • Applied leave by date

    • Leave balance report

    • Medical & Emergency report

  4. Enter the parameters.

  5. Click Download.

  6. This will create an Excel spreadsheet with the leave details.

Tip: The Manager Role needs View permission for Reports in order to be able to access the reports.

If the Manager needs to access the profiles of the Associated Team Members, you can create a separate team, add the members to this team, but do not remove them from the Default Team; this remains the same.

The workflow for leave and profile changes will continue to go to the default team. However, the Manager will be able to see the employees' information, i.e., Leave balances, Contact Details, etc., but won't receive workflow notifications for approvals.
