Agent deactivation

Delete a user's Agent access to MicrOpay

Updated over 3 months ago

You have the option to delete Agents (or users) in MicrOpay. And whilst this will prevent them from being able to log in, you will also remove Agent details from reports. For example, the Employee and Database Audit Reports will no longer display which Agent made a change.

As an alternative, you can lock an Agent. This will prevent them from being able to access MicrOpay, whilst still retaining the data for reporting purposes. To lock an Agent:

  1. Log in as an Administrator.

  2. Go to Access MicrOpay Administration, Agent Administration, Agents.

  3. Edit the Agent.

  4. Select the Options tab.

  5. Under Options, tick Lock Agent.

  6. If Lock Agent is greyed out, click on the Groups tab, highlight the Group, and click Remove. Lock Agent should now be available on the Options tab.

  7. Click OK to save.

If the Agent tries to log into MicrOpay, they will receive a message that the account has been locked.
