When you open a report, the report default parameters will display. Each report has its own set of default parameters.
In the bottom left corner of each report parameter screen is a Default checkbox. You can use this to save your own default parameters. The selected parameters will appear next time you open the report and they are specific to your Agent. Meaning your colleague could create a different default set of parameters. To set your default, select the required parameters and then tick Default.
Your default parameter selection is shared across databases when you log in to both databases using the same Agent (e.g., Admin), so you don't have to remember the selection across databases. If you want to use different default settings for each database, use a different Agent to log in, e.g. Admin in one database and Admin1 in the other.
If you have Default ticked and change the parameter selection, the change becomes part of your default selection and will display next time you open the report.
There are a couple of considerations:
Period End Date, Advice Date, Month to Date and Year to Date cumulative fields often default to the highest date, most recent date or today's date. Review the date fields before previewing or producing the report.
Reprint Pay Advices will always be unticked when you open the report.
Note: When you tick Reprint Pay Advices as part of the Pay Advice parameters, this will untick Current Leave Transactions on the Leave tab. Tick this again to reduce the leave balances by the leave taken in the current period.
IQ Reports don't have a Default checkbox. The parameters you used last time are saved and will appear next time you open the report.
