The steps below are only available for New Zealand and Other databases. In an Australian database, the production of Pay Advices drives STP Reporting, therefore, Pay Advices must be produced before STP Reporting and End of Pay.
β
When you produce Pay Advices before the End of Pay, leave based on hours worked and Credit Public Holiday are not updated for the current period. When you reprint advices after the End of Pay, the same leave balances will be the same as the original pay advice.
Leave Balances appear on Pay Advices with an 'as at' date, indicating the date leave has been accrued to. The date will be:
The date entered into the Leave Entitlements Date on Update Leave Entitlement or End of Pay for leave based on Contract Hours.
The Period End Date for leave based on Hours Worked.
To produce Pay Advices with leave accruals up to the end of the current period, an Admin user can change Agent permissions to enable the production of Pay Advices after the End of Pay.
β
To update Agent Permissions:
Log in as an Admin user.
Go to Access MicrOpay Evo Administration, Agent Administration, Agents
Edit the Agent.
Select the Access Permissions tab.
Expand International Payroll, Permissions
Untick Mandatory check all Pay Advice printed. You may need to click twice, as the checkbox must be left blank.
Click OK to save the change.
Things to note:
You cannot change this permission for Agents attached to Administrator in the Groups tab of the Agent.
Only Agents who have had the permission changed will be able to bypass printing the Pay Advices before the End of Pay.
When processing End of Pay, two pop-up warnings appear. The first warning is an alert that a backup should be performed. The second is that not all Pay Advices have been printed. Click Yes to bypass the warning.
