How to find the date the EFT was generated or the Pay Advices Printed

When were the Pay Advices produced or the Bank file exported? How do I know which pay advices have been produced of EFT payments generated?

When you create your EFT file the date you enter into the Date to be Processed by Bank will be recorded as part of the transaction. This also happens when you produce your Pay Advices, the Advice Date is recorded as part of the transaction. To find what date was used for these processes or if the process has been completed:

  1. Go to Payroll, Enquiries, Employee Enquiries.

  2. Select the employee(s) by:

    • For one employee, tick Single Employee and enter the employee in From Employee.

    • For a range of employees, untick Single Employee and enter the first employee in From Employee and the last Employee in To Employee.

    • For all employees, untick Single Employee and leave From Employee and To Employee blank.

  3. Enter the Period End Date in the From Date and To Date. To see multiple periods enter the first Period End date in From Date and last Period End date in To Date.

  4. If you haven't completed the End of Pay process yet tick Include Unprocessed Transactions to include the period in the results.

  5. Click View.

  6. To see the date the EFT was generated review the EFT Status column for any Net Pay descriptions. When the EFT for the transaction has been generated the status will be Include in EFT : Generated followed by the date generated.

  7. To see the date the Pay Advices were produced review the Advice Printed Date for any Net Pay descriptions.

  8. If you can't see the required column:

    • Right click in the grid and select Customise Grid Columns.

    • Drag and drop the required column into the column headings.

Note: You can apply filters using the drop down lists for each heading, e.g. filter on Description to see Gross Taxable Total and Net Pay. You can also export the results using Save Grid, so that you can access the results in another program, e.g. Excel.
