Error: 'Directory Does Not Exist'

Receive error 'Directory Does Not Exist' when generating EFT or general ledger files

This message can appear if the file is already open in another location, the path you're saving it to isn't correct, or you don't have permission to save the file in the relevant location.

If you get this error, check the following:

  • Make sure the current general ledger or EFT file isn't open in another location. If it is, close it and try again.

  • Browse to the folder you're trying to save the file to and make sure the path is correct and the folder exists.

  • Check that you have the necessary permissions to save files in this location. You may need your IT support to check your permission.
