In ESS, the Sync from Payroll process updates the ESS records with changes that have occurred in MicrOpay. The process retrieves changes that have occurred since the previous Sync was performed.
If you perform multiple Syncs on the same day, you may see employees included multiple times. This is because the process is retrieving changes based on the date and not the date and time the previous Sync was performed. When employees are included in multiple Syncs, the changes are not duplicated, so you won't incorrectly update an employee record or create two new employee records.
