Email Pay Advices

Change the settings used to send Pay Advices via an email address to employees, set up employees for email pay advices and send the emails

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Email Pay Advice module supports emailing Pay Advices directly to employees. This reduces the number of paper advices printed and eliminates the need to fold and seal pay advices.

If you would like to purchase the Email Pay Advice module, raise a case online.

Set up the Email Pay Advice Module

You can access the email pay advice settings by going to Access MicrOpay Evo Administration, System Configuration, System Wizard. Select the Email tab to see the setup.

Note: You will need to be logged in as an Admin user to access Access MicrOpay Evo Administration.

Review the document below for detailed steps on setting up the Email Pay Advice Module:

To stagger sending bulk emails

Use the Send Delay (ms) field in the System Configuration Wizard. This field is used to insert a delay, in milliseconds, between each email being sent in a batch. This can assist customers whose email system restricts bulk sending of emails, e.g. Office 365 imposes a limit of 30 emails per minute.

OAuth 2.0 Options

Introduced in version 9.4 SP1 (June 2025) is the option to use OAuth 2.0 as an email server authentication method. After upgrading, the Email tab in System Configuration tab will show two options:

  • Use Standard SMTP - the pre-upgrade option. This will be selected by default.

  • Use Microsoft Azure Graph API - this is the option to use with OAuth 2.0. When selected, the Email tab will display different fields required for OAuth configuration.

Important: To change the email configuration to OAuth 2.0, you will need information from your email server. Contact your IT department or whoever manages your email server for assistance.
