There is no functionality in ESS to delete or remove a role. If you need to remove a role, raise a case online and reference the title of this article. When you raise the case, include the following:
Name of the role(s) to be removed.
Permission to access your ESS.
Before raising the case, you should check that the role isn't attached to any members. To do this:
Go to Setting, Roles & Permissions.
Check the number in the circle for how many members are attached to the role.
For a list of who is attached to the role, click on the ellipsis (three dots) button for the role.
Select the Roles report.
Change or remove the role for the members.
