Add a note to Pay Advices

Add a Pay Advice message either to an individual employee or to a group of employees

You can include messages on employee Pay Advices. As this can be for a group of employees or an individual, there are multiple places where you add messages. The option you choose will depend on who the message is for and the frequency required:

  1. To include the same message every pay for an individual employee:

    • Go to Payroll, Maintenance, Employees, Employees. Edit the Employee, select Additional Fields and click the Pay Advice tab. Enter the message to show on the Pay Advice.

    • The message can be up to 270 characters.

  2. To include a message for an individual employee in the current period:

    • In the transaction, select Net Pay. Enter the message in Pay Advice Message and click Process.

    • The message can be up to 90 characters.

  3. To include a message for multiple employees in the current period:

    • Go to Payroll, Reports, Transactions, Pay Advices and select the Messages tab. Enter a message in:

      • Print Global Message for all employees.

      • Payroll Company Messages for employees in the selected Payroll Company.

      • Location Message for employees in the selected Location.

    • The message can be up to 90 characters.
