MicrOpay ESS - Mass activation in ESS

Activate multiple employees at once or bulk activation

ESS includes functionality to activate multiple employees at once from Teams.

Mass activations are performed by an Administrator, who can choose to:

  • Activate All Members - to activate all members with a Not Activated status who aren't terminated.

  • Activate Members - allows the user to select all or individual members from the selected Team to activate, where their status is either Not Activated, Activation Link Expired or Activation Link Sent.

The permission for Mass Activation is separate from individual activation. The role will need Edit permission to Mass Activation, located under Maintenance. It is recommended that the role also have View permission to Audit Reports so that the user can review the Activation Audit Report for any errors. To Activate All Members:

  1. Go to Teams.

  2. Click the ellipsis button (three dots) to the right of the Teams heading.

  3. Select Activate All Members.

  4. You will receive a message noting that the process may take some time. Click Yes, activate all to activate all members with a status of Not Activated.

You can review the Activation Audit Report from Audit Reports on the Dashboard once the process is complete.

To Activate Members within a Team:

  1. Go to Teams.

  2. Select the team.

  3. Click the ellipsis button (three dots) to the right of the Team name.

  4. Select Activate Members. This will display each member's Activation Status and include a checkbox to the left. You will have Select All (boxes with a tick), Activate and Cancel buttons at the top.

  5. The screen will initially show 20 employees, click View more at the bottom to show additional members.

  6. Click Select All to select all members with a Not Activated status on the page. To include members with Activation Link Expired or Activation Link Sent, tick the individual checkbox.

  7. Click Activate.

  8. You will receive a message noting that the process may take some time, click Yes, activate selected to activate the members.

You can review the Activation Audit Report from Audit Reports on the Dashboard once the process is complete.
