You can change the full name in the declaration window, to change who is reporting an STP event.
However, if the full name is incorrect you need to change contact details in two places in order to have the full name in the declaration window default to the new or correct name.
To update the Company Details:
There is only one Company Details record. If you have multiple Payroll Company records this should be the company that is supplying the information to the ATO.
Go to Common, Maintenance, Company Details.
Update the required information.
Click OK.
To update the Payroll Company:
The information in the Payroll Company identifies the employer (Payer) submitting the STP Reporting data. The nominated Contact Person also becomes the default, authorised person who declares that the payroll data submitted to the ATO is true and correct.
Go to Payroll, General, Payroll Companies
Edit the Payroll Company you need to change.
Update the Contact Details
Click OK.
