You can delete a User Defined Leave class if it has never been used and is not attached to employee records. To delete the Leave class follow the below steps:
Check that the leave class isn't attached to an Employee:
Go to Common, IQ
Select IQB-LV008 - Payroll Leave Liability (new).
Enter 1 as the Value for Include Terminated.
Click OK.
Filter Leave Type for User Defined Leave you want to delete. Ensure it is not attached to an employee. If it is attached you will need to remove it from the employee.
Delete the User Defined Leave Class:
Take a backup.
Go to Payroll, Maintenance, Leave, Leave Reasons.
Edit the Leave Reason associated with the User Defined Leave class.
Change the Leave Type to Other.
Click OK.
Go to Payroll, Maintenance, Leave, User Defined Leave.
Select the UDL you want to delete.
Click Delete.
Then click Yes to confirm deleting the User Defined Leave class.
