MicrOpay Evo - Refresh data in Evo

Update Evo with changes made in MicrOpay or refresh the Evo data after restoring a previous backup or completing the Change Tax Year process

There are two different processes that you can use to Update Data in MicrOpay Evo. The process you choose will depend on the reason you need to update data. The reasons are to:

  • update data with the latest changes made in MicrOpay. This would be outside of the normal scheduled updates.

  • refresh data after you have restored your MicrOpay data to a previous version of data.

    • Use this method to update data after completing the Change Tax Year process.

To Update Data with the latest changes:

  1. Log in to the MicrOpay Evo environment.

  2. Select Data Engine from the Access button.

  3. Click on the Menu button (three lines).

  4. Select Schedules under Automation.

  5. Expand the Team folder, then Z - SC - Client.

  6. Select the Update Evo for Current Changes. This will tick the box on the left.

  7. Click the Play button in the toolbar.

  8. The Last Run Result field will change to Running and the Duration will start to increase. When the process is finished, the Last Run Result will change to Completed.

  9. Your latest MicrOpay data should now be available in Analytics.

To Update Data after a MicrOpay Restore:

Use this method to update data after you have restored your database or completed the Change Tax Year process.

Depending on the size of your database, a complete update of data may take some time. There are two separate schedules that you will need to run to do a complete update of data.

  1. Log in to the MicrOpay Evo environment.

  2. Select Data Engine from the Access Button.

  3. Click on the Menu button (three lines).

  4. Select Schedules under Automation.

  5. Expand the Team folder, then Z - SC - Client.

  6. Select Update Evo for Full Data Restore - Run First. This will tick the box on the left.

  7. Click the Play button in the toolbar.

  8. The Last Run Result field will change to Running and the Duration will start to increase. When the process is finished, the Last Run Result will change to Completed.

  9. Next, select Update Evo for Full Data Restore - Run Second.

  10. Click the Play button.

  11. The Last Run Result field will change to Running and the Duration will start to increase. When the process is finished, the Last Run Result will change to Completed.

  12. Your latest MicrOpay data should now be available in Analytics.
