IQs are reports that retrieve data from the currently selected company database using queries, called IQ Queries. When the IQ Query is run, the results are displayed in a grid. The grid can then be saved for use in other applications or displayed on a chart.
Some queries don't have parameters to extract the data. Other queries, especially complex or large queries, have parameters that allow you to filter the data so only relevant records are returned.
Once the data has been extracted to the grid, you can filter the data, e.g. filter for one Pay Frequency, right-click and Customize Grid Columns to add or remove columns and use Save Grid to export, e.g. Excel.
IQ Queries can retrieve large volumes of data. Often, this will provide more information than required. You can customise the IQ to return only relevant data. This is done by selecting an existing IQ query and updating the columns included to your reporting requirements.
