Public Holidays work with the employee's work pattern so that leave planning entries or leave applications entered in ESS are reduced by the Public Holiday.

Public Holiday Planner
Locations with common public holidays are allocated to a Public Holiday Planner, e.g. by state to reflect the different state public holidays.

Using the employee's location, any public holidays that fall within the leave period are recognised and reduce the calculated leave days.
To update:
Go to Maintenance, Leave, Leave Planning, Public Holiday Planner.
Edit the Public Holiday Planner.
To add or remove a location, from the Location dropdown:
tick a location to add.
untick a location to remove.
A Location can only be attached to one Public Holiday Planner.
Click Add to enter a new public holiday.
Enter the Public Holiday or select from the dropdown list. Any public holiday entered into the field is added to the Public Holiday lookup table, which populates the dropdown list.
Enter the Date, or use the calendar drop-down.
Press the down-arrow on the keyboard or tab to the next row to add another public holiday.
Once all public holidays have been added, click OK.
Public Holiday Planners can be copied. You may wish to create the first with all common Public Holidays, then copy and modify it to accommodate variations per state.

The Public Holiday lookup table can be viewed or maintained in Access MicrOpay Evo Administration, System Configuration, Lookup Tables.
