What is the Access MicrOpay Web API

Payroll software holds valuable company information about your employees; increasingly, that information needs to be shared with other software products such as HR, Timesheet, Employee Self Service, and Accounting software. Access MicrOpay already implements several methods to transfer data to and from its payroll software packages.

With the Access MicrOpay Web API, you can use modern data transfer formats to get and post that same information to our secure cloud-based servers, which talk directly to the payroll systems. Our system will give you instant feedback on the validity of the request, as well as status updates as payroll users process the requests.

Once the Web API Integration has been developed, you will receive Web API credentials, which the 3rd Party Software will use for Web API integration.

Note: If changing 3rd party software or adding another 3rd party software (additional integration), new Web API credentials will be required. For security purposes, every Web API integration will need its own API credentials (different credentials for every integration). To receive new Web API credentials, please raise a case online and reference the title of this article so that we can organise this for you.
