The Access Group updated Access MicrOpay WebAPI to v3.9.0.0 on Wednesday, 12 August 2026. Desktop customers using MicrOpay Client Service (MCS) with WebAPI must download the latest MCS v3.9.0.0 to avoid any connection issues. Please click HERE to download the latest MCS version.

The Access Group wishes to advise a new version of MicrOpay Client Service (MCS) is now available for download. Please refer to the link below.

Payroll Online and Outsourcing customers do not need to download the MCS, as we update your software to the correct version for your environment.
What is changing?
A new endpoint, GET api/AuditLogs, to retrieve change details for latest changes to MicrOpay employee fields. It includes changes to:

EmployeeEmails
EmployeeAddsDeds
EmployeeAddRates
Third party applications can now use Webhooks to retrieve MicrOpay employee changes.
GET api/SuperFund now also retrieves FundBSB and FundAccountNumber.
Gender character limit for POST api/ChangeEmployeeImmediate is increased to 20 characters.
When ApplyUserDefinedStructure is omitted or set to False in the GET api/EmployeeBasic or GET api/EmployeeDetails endpoints, employee user defined fields now revert to the original display order.
