Beam Super Clearing - MVR Error: 'Validation failed - expired/invalid token'

Received 'Validation failed - expired/invalid token' in Member Verification Requests for an employee who has changed funds or a new employee.

If a Member Verification Request (MVR) returns a verification failed or expired/invalid token error, re-register the company with Beam and refresh the token, allowing the MVR to be sent successfully.

Re-register the company in Beam

  1. Go to Payroll, Maintenance, General, Payroll Companies.

  2. Edit the Payroll Company the affected employee belongs to.

  3. Click the Superannuation tab.

  4. Click Update Beam Registration to re-register the company with Beam. This will open the Beam landing page.

  5. Click Start.

  6. Complete the pages. These pages will auto-fill with the details from your Payroll Company; you can update them if required. Click Next to move to the next page.

  7. The last page is the T&C (Terms and Conditions). Review Beam's terms and conditions and tick the checkbox to accept. You can also download the Beam Product Disclosure Statement. If your Payment Method is Direct Debit, there will be additional terms and conditions to review and accept.

  8. You will receive confirmation that you're ready to manage super with Beam. Close the webpage and return to MicrOpay.

  9. Click Yes to confirm that you have completed the update with Beam.

Re-send the Member Verification Request

Once the company has been re-registered, re-send the MVR for the affected employee:

  1. Go to Payroll, Transactions, End of Period, Member Verification Requests.

  2. Select the request to re-send and click Re-send.

  3. The Member Verification Request (MVR) will resend.

Once the MVR is successful you will be able to submit the contribution in a batch.
