What's in the Access MicrOpay Evo version 9.5 SP2 release

  • New Beam production credentials.

Important: For On-premise (Desktop) customers who use Beam Super Clearing, this is a mandatory release.

The new production credentials enable MicrOpay Evo to continue communicating with Beam, making this a mandatory release for customers using Beam Super Clearing.

  • Additional employee fields sent to Beam.

  • Improvements and changes related to Super Clearing Batches

    • A new option to include or exclude Member Verifications Request (MVR) validation in batch validation.

    • An issue that set the Batch Process To date to a Period End date from the previous year, preventing the correct Period End from being selected, is corrected.

    • A new Select All button in Super Clearing Batch Details allows all batch contribution records to be selected.

    • When moving contributions to a new batch, at least one must stay in the original batch.

    • Changes to reduce the number of error messages related to invalid, missing or no tokens.

  • Other changes and fixes:

    • An issue that caused Qualifying Earnings for Additions/Deductions to be reticked after being unticked is resolved.

    • Performance improvements to:

      • Transaction Import.

      • Employee Audit Report and Employee Audit Viewer.

How this version will be made available

If you're a Payroll Online (Hosted) customer

Access MicrOpay Evo will be upgraded to v9.5 SP2 on Friday 4 September 2026, 8:00 pm - Saturday 5 September 2026, 8:00 pm AEST.

If you are an On-premise Desktop customer

The Access MicrOpay Evo v9.5 SP2 release is available from here from 24 August 2026. If you use the Installer to upgrade, follow your normal process to upgrade. Before updating your Access MicrOpay Evo software, back up both the Payroll and the Common database. See Backup and Restore for more information.
