What's in the Access MicrOpay Evo version 9.5 SP1 release

Australian tax changes for the 2026/2027 Financial Year

- SGL parameters tab changes can no longer be edited
- Quarterly Contribution cap is replaced with annual Maximum Contribution cap
- References to Ordinary Time Earnings/OTE are replaced with Qualifying Earnings/QE

Changes and fixes related to Beam Super Clearing

- Automatically sending MVRs for employees using non-employer default funds, and their fund configuration or member details change
- New MVR verification fields and options in employee Superannuation Funds
- A new Member Verification Request window to display MVRs sent within a date range

How this version will be made available

If you're a Payroll Online (Hosted) customer

Access MicrOpay Evo will be upgraded to v9.5 SP1 on Friday 26 June 2026, 8:00 pm - Saturday 27 June 2026, 8:00 pm AEST.

If you are an On-premise Desktop customer

The Access MicrOpay Evo v9.5 SP1 release is available from <a href="https://portal.payrollsoftware.com.au/Assets/M95_SP1_Evo_Dataloader.zip" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a> from 22 June 2026. If you use the Installer to upgrade, follow your normal process to upgrade. Before updating your Access MicrOpay Evo software, back up both the Payroll and the Common database. See <a href="https://help-micropay.theaccessgroup.com/en/articles/11872407-backup-and-restore">Backup and Restore</a> for more information.
