Beam Super Clearing - Incorrect PRN

Have used the wrong Payment Reference Number when making a payment to Beam for superannuation

If you receive a notification from Beam advising that a payment hasn't been received, but you have transferred the funds, this could be because the Payment Reference Number (PRN) is incorrect.

Beam can't automatically reconcile the contribution data with the payment when the PRN is incorrect. In these instances, you may receive the above notification 3 days after submitting the contribution and the batch will be cancelled and the funds returned. Check if the PRN used was correct and that the payment was made.

Once the contribution batch has been cancelled, you can resubmit the batch and the payment using the correct PRN.

To cancel the contribution batch earlier, contact support via MyAccess.

We recommend using the Creditor EFT Export to create an ABA file to upload to your bank to pay Beam. Using the Creditor EFT Export ensures that the correct PRN is used and the payment will match the contribution data.
