Updated yesterday

The IQB-FTE - Payroll Full Time Equivalents (FTE) report is a high-level report designed to provide Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) data, including number of hours, number of employees and FTE by cost account and company.

Run the IQB-FTE - Payroll Full Time Equivalents (FTE) report:

  1. Go to Common, IQ.

  2. Double-click on IQB-FTE - Payroll Full Time Equivalents.

  3. Enter the following parameters:

    • Include Overtime - enter either 0 or 1 - 0 (False) will exclude overtime or 1 (True) will include overtime.

    • Include Terminated - enter either 0 or 1 - 0 (False) will exclude terminated employees or 1 (True) will include terminated employees.

    • Pay Frequency Code - the code of the pay frequency you want to run. you can only select one. If you have more than one frequency, even if they are the same length (e.g., two monthly frequencies), you will need to run them separately.

    • Pay Periods - enter the number of pay periods included in the date range.

    • Period End Date From and Period End Date To - the date range of pay periods to include.

    • Standard Hours - enter the number of hours a full time employee works for the selected frequency.

  4. Click OK.

Trouble-shooting

There are a number of reasons that the IQB-FTE - Payroll Full Time Equivalents (FTE) does not produce the expected results. Check the following:

  • Pay Frequency in the parameters requires the code of the Pay Frequency, e.g. F01, not Fortnightly. To check the code, go to Payroll, Maintenance, General, Pay Frequencies.

  • Pay Periods is the number of periods that occur in the date range for the frequency. E.g., if you enter a month, this could be 4 weekly periods.

  • Standard Hours is the number of hours a full-time person works in the chosen frequency. E.g., if the selected Frequency is Weekly, the standard hours could be 37.5, and if the Frequency is Monthly, the standard hours could be 164.67.

  • Use the Costing Report for the same period range to verify the results. Check to see which employees made up the values on the FTE Report, the number of hours worked and the number of employees in the cost account.
