Error: 'This employee is currently in use by 'Agent' in 'Timesheet' whilst in transactions or employee record

If you receive the above message while processing transactions or employee records, check to see if the user specified has the employee open in a transaction. If they don't, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Payroll, Maintenance, Employees, Employees.

  2. Edit the employee receiving the message.

  3. In Personal Details change something, e.g. the street number and click OK.

  4. Edit the employee again and undo the change. Click OK
