When leave is applied for in ESS, the leave hours and days are calculated using the Work Pattern attached to the employee in MicrOpay. The application will also be reduced by any Public Holiday that falls during the leave period.
If you update the Work Pattern or change the Work Pattern the employee is attached to, the leave applications in ESS will not change. To correct the leave application, you will need to cancel the leave application in ESS and resubmit it.
Leave Applications in ESS won't appear in Leave Processing in MicrOpay if the Work Pattern in MicrOpay has a future effective date. For example, the Work Pattern effective date is 1 September and the employee applies for leave in July of the same year, the application won't appear in Leave Processing until the September period is processed.
