You can produce the Payroll Report as either a detailed list or a summary of all payroll transactions. Once all transactions have been checked and confirmed, the Payroll Report should be kept as a record of the pay period.
It should be printed after the Audit Report and Transaction Report have been checked but before EFT or Pay Advices are produced. However, this report can be printed or previewed at any time to review previous tax year values, year to date (YTD) or month to date (MTD) values.
To run the report:
Go to Payroll, Reports, Transactions, Payroll Report.
Select applicable filters or select All for the following fields:
Payroll Company
Location
Location Group
Payment Frequency
Transaction Type
Tick Include Previous Tax Year to include Period End Dates from previous years.
Select the Period End Date.
To include MTD values, tick Print Month to Date Cumulatives, and select the Month Cumulatives From and Month Cumulatives To dates.
To include YTD values, tick Print Year to Date Cumulatives, and select the YTD Cumulatives From and YTD Cumulatives To dates.
Select the required Totals Options. To see:
a detailed report tick Show Employee Totals, this will include each employee.
a summarised report, tick the required options from Show Location Totals, Show Company Totals and Show Report Totals.
Total Cost will be included in the Location, Company and Report total sections. It represents the total cost to the business, so earnings plus super.
Under Display Options, tick:
Include Employees not Paid to include all employees in the report. This should be ticked when you include MTD or YTD cumulative.
Include Terminated Employees to include terminated employees in the report. This should be ticked when you include MTD or YTD cumulative.
Show Hours by Rate to show Normal, Other Hours, Award Hours, T/Half, Double and Penalty Hours separately. When this isn't ticked they will be consolidated.
Show Employee Additions / Deductions to show a breakdown per employee.
Report by Employee's Current Location to show all of the employee's values under their current location. When this is unticked, the values will show under the location they were attached to at the time of the transaction.
Select the Order By.
Click Print or Preview.
