Payroll Report

How do I print or run the Payroll report and include Month to Date, Year to Date or Previous Tax Year values

Updated over 2 months ago

The Payroll Report prints either a detailed list or a summary of all payroll transactions. Once all transactions have been checked and confirmed, the Payroll Report should be kept as a record of the pay period.

It should be printed after the Audit Report and Transaction Report have been checked but before EFT or Pay Advices are produced. However, this report can be printed or previewed at any time to review previous tax year values, year to date (YTD) or month to date (MTD) values.

To access the Payroll Report from the system tree, go to Payroll, Reports, Transactions, Payroll Report.

To print MTD values in the Print month to date cumulative, choose the first period of the month in from and the last period of the month in to. If you have multiple pay frequencies and you want to include all of them, you can make your selections accordingly.

To print YTD values in the Print year to date cumulative, choose the first period of the year in from and the last period of the year in to. If you have multiple pay frequencies and you want to include all of them, you can make your selections accordingly.

To print the report for a previous financial year, tick Include Previous Tax Years.

This report is an ideal report to give totals for all pay components:

Gross, Net, Super, Tax and all Additions and Deductions.

By selecting the appropriate boxes under Totals Options or Display Options
will give a breakdown of employees or grand totals.
