You export a bank file for New Zealand employees from MicrOpay and then upload it to your banking software to transfer funds to your employees. You will select the date you want the bank to process the file.
Generate Payments for New Zealand employees
Go to Payroll, Transactions, Import and Export, Generate Payments.
Select Payroll Company and Location or leave as <All>.
To select one employee, enter them in From Employee and To Employee. Leave these fields blank to include all Employees.
Select the Pay Frequency or leave as <All>.
Select Company Bank as the account you are paying from.
Period End Date will default to the latest period for the Frequency; select a different one if required.
The Batch Number is the sequential number for the file if more than one payment is sent in a day.
The Batch Creation Date is the date the file is created; this will default to today's date but can be changed.
Change the Batch Due Date to be the date you want the bank to process the file.
General Description of Entries will default from the Company Bank. You can change this.
File Path and File Name are where the file will be exported and what it will be called. These default from the Company Bank and can be changed.
Tick Overwrite File if Exist if a file with the same name already exists in the file location, and you want to replace it. Data will be appended to an existing file if one exists in the file location and this option is not ticked.
Tick Regenerate Processed Employees if you have already exported a bank file for the period and need to re-export it. Ticking this option will include all employees who have previously had their EFT exported.
To check the values included in the file, click Preview.
Click File to create the bank file.
