MicrOpay ESS - Employee appears terminated in ESS but not in Micropay

This can happen when a Termination Transaction is entered for an employee and then deleted.

To correct the employee in MicrOpay

  1. Log in to MicrOpay.

  2. Go to Payroll, Maintenance, Employees, Employees.

  3. Edit the Employee Record.

  4. Select Termination Details.

  5. Tick Termination Date and enter the date, Termination Reason, and STP Cessation Reason.

  6. Click OK to save the changes.

  7. Edit the Employee record again.

  8. Select Termination Details.

  9. Untick Termination Date.

  10. Ensure that the Termination Reason and STP Cessation Reason have been removed.

  11. Select Pay Details.

  12. Change the employee's Pay Point. Choose any Pay Point as this change is temporary.

  13. Click OK to save

  14. Log in to ESS.

  15. Go to Settings, General.

  16. Tick Sync from payroll for the database the employee belongs to.

  17. When the Sync is complete, the ESS record should no longer be terminated.

  18. Go back to MicrOpay and correct the employee's Pay Point.
