The Australian Tax Office (ATO) requires some allowances and deductions to be shown separately in STP Reporting. See the ATO's Quick Reference Guide for more information on reporting groups.
Follow the steps below to display allowances in STP Reporting:
Go to Payroll, Maintenance, General, Additions and Deductions.
Edit the addition or deduction.
Click on the STP Reporting tab.
As you've enabled STP2, bypass STP Phase 1.
In STP Phase 2, select Allowance Items for Reporting Group.
Then select the Reporting Subgroup.
If OD - Other Allowance is selected as the Subgroup, you will also need to select an Other Allowance Description.
Click OK.
