SuperStream is the format that the Australian Tax Office (ATO) advises superannuation contributions must be paid to superannuation funds.

Refer to the ATO website for more information on SuperStream:
You can contact your Superannuation Fund for more information on the format they require to upload employee superannuation amounts that are to be allocated to their super accounts.
Create a SAFF File Layout
Before you can attach a SAFF file format to a Fund, you need to create a File Layout. You create one File Layout if all your funds are sent to the same place (e.g. Clearing House) and reported using the same SuperStream Alternative File Format.
Go to Payroll, Maintenance, Superannuation, File Layout.
Click Add.
Use the Load from Template dropdown and select SuperStream Alternative File Format.
Enter a File Layout Description.
Click the File Details Tab and enter the Name of Output File and where you want to save the file to as the Path of Output File.
Select OK to save.
Attach the Superannuation File Layout to the Superannuation Fund
Go to Payroll, Maintenance, Superannuation, Fund.
Edit the Fund.
Select the File Layout tab.
In File Layout, select the SAFF layout that you created.
Select OK to save.
Repeat for each Superannuation Fund that requires the same layout.
Your Super Fund or Clearing House will advise if they require a test file to be submitted to confirm your format complies with their specifications.
