Disappearing window

The pop-up window for a report is hiding or missing, how to reveal it, or the report screen has been minimized, how to get the window back.

If you've tried to open a window and it hasn't displayed and MicrOpay appears to be locked up and does not respond to further commands review this article. Examples may include:

  • a maintenance window such as additions and deductions or employee

  • previewing a report like pay advice

The data window has opened; you can't see it because it is displayed off the monitor. The reason MicrOpay appears to be non-responsive is that there's an active window open that you can't see.

To resolve, realign the display:

  1. Click MicrOpay in the Windows® Taskbar to ensure it is the active application.

  2. On your keyboard, press ALT + Spacebar. A pop-up menu is displayed.

  3. Select Maximise or Restore, and the hidden screen should appear.

When you open the window again or select preview in a report (e.g. Pay Advices), it will now appear in the centre of the monitor.
