If you have tried to open a data window in MicrOpay, e.g., a Maintenance window such as Addition or Deduction, an employee record, or trying to preview a report like pay advices, etc., and it is not displayed and MicrOpay appears to lock up and does not respond to any further commands, review this article to see how to fix this issue.
The data window you tried to open is there; you just cannot see it because it is being displayed off the edge of the monitor. The reason that MicrOpay seems to be non-responsive is because there is an active window open, even though you cannot see it.
There are three methods that you can use to realign the MicrOpay display with the selected screen resolution. You should try each method in turn.
Method 1 - ALT + Spacebar
Click on MicrOpay in the Windows® Taskbar to ensure that it is the active application.
On your keyboard, press ALT + Spacebar.
Select Maximise or Restore, and the hidden screen should appear.
When you open the window again and select Preview again (when wanting to preview the Pay Advices), it will now appear in the centre of the monitor's display area.
If Method 1 fails, follow the steps in Method 2.
Method 2 - CTRL + ALT + END, Sign Out and Cancel
Click on MicrOpay in the Windows® Taskbar to ensure that it is the active application.
On your keyboard, press CTRL + ALT + END.
Select Sign Out.
Select Cancel.
It should bring the hidden window back to the front.
If Method 2 fails, try Method 3.
Method 3 – CTRL + ALT + END, Sign Out, Sign Out
Click on MicrOpay in the Windows® Taskbar to ensure that it is the active application.
On your keyboard, press CTRL + ALT + END.
Select Sign Out.
Select Sign Out.
Log on again.
If all of the above methods do not resolve the issue, raise a case online for further assistance. Reference this article in your case and mention that you have tried all 3 methods.
