Payments can only be made by your Clearing House (including Beam) to your employee's super fund if the fund is compliant. Funds become non-compliant for several reasons, e.g.
when they are closed
an SMSF (Self-Managed Super Fund) has not completed a tax return
ABN is not known or the ESA is not correct
To check if a fund is compliant, you can use the Government's Super Fund Lookup.
