Occasionally you may find that rates calculated or displayed in MicrOpay are slightly different between transactions. This will be due to the rounding used when calculating rates, e.g. the rate used to pay Casual Loading.
There are various rounding rules which can be applied to the Fair work payments and weekly rates are not always accurately divisible by the hourly rates due to the rounding.
If you find a variance we suggest that you:
Ensure that you set the Number of Decimal Places to four on the Other tab in Payroll, Maintenance, General, General Parameters.
Calculate the hourly rate by dividing the Weekly Rate by 38.
Adjust the hourly rate. For example, to pay Time/Half at $44.00 per hour you could set the Time / Half Rate to $29.334, which might differ to the Normal rate of $29.33.
