ESS allows employees to apply for leave within the same date range. This gives them the flexibility to cancel a leave application and then enter a new application that either:
Overlaps some or all of the leave dates.
Use a different leave type for the same date range.
A warning message is displayed when the second leave application is created to alert the employee. Managers or Administrators can decline leave applications where the employee has created two applications for the same period.
