The Calculation Worksheet enables you to calculate tax on lump sum payments, such as bonuses and commissions, for multiple employees.

Superannuation contribution amounts may also be calculated, if required.

After tax values are calculated, transactions based on the data in the Worksheet can be generated for multiple employees with a single click.

Only Amount type Addition Before Tax codes can be used in the Calculation Worksheet

Note: Once either the EFT or the Pay Advices have been produced, you will receive a message saying that the process has been performed when you click Generate Values to calculate tax in the worksheet. And no value will be inserted into the Tax Withheld column.

Either:

  • Process Bonuses via the Calculation Worksheet before producing the EFTs and Pay Advices.

  • Or at the completion of the current pay run process, Bonuses in the Calculation Worksheet in a separate pay run.
