Updated over 3 months ago

An employee can contribute their superannuation to more than one fund. This can be used to divide their employer contribution between funds or allocate their employee contribution (Salary Sacrifice or Voluntary Contribution) to a different fund.

Add multiple Funds to the Employee:

  1. Go to Payroll, Maintenance, Employees, Employees.

  2. Edit the Employee.

  3. Select Superannuation Details.

  4. In Superannuation Funds, click Add.

  5. Select the Fund and enter the required fields.

  6. Click OK.

Split the Employer Contribution between Funds:

  1. Select (highlight) the fund at the top of the screen.

  2. Click Add in the Superannuation Contributions section.

  3. Ensure that the correct fund is displayed.

  4. Select Employer as the Contribution Type and select the Employer Contribution.

  5. Tick Primary Contribution.

  6. Enter Allocations as the percentage of the Employer Contribution that is to be allocated to this fund, i.e., if the employee wants half to go to the fund, then enter 50.

  7. Update any other required fields.

  8. Click OK to save.

  9. If the employee has an existing Employer Contribution, Edit the contribution and change the Allocations.

  10. If the employee doesn't have an existing Employer Contribution, repeat steps 1 to 8 for the additional fund(s).
