Please get your IT to apply the Microsoft fix: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1018151/windows-11-22h2-cant-connect-to-a-rds-server-after.html
It is a UDP workaround; it can be used for Windows10 users, not just Windows11.
If you add the following registry setting, the Remote Desktop Connection will work.
Note: We recommend contacting your IT department for their admin access.
Go to Registry Editor by typing Regedit
Go to Computer
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
Policies
Microsoft
Windows NT
Terminal Services
Client
Client KEY VALUE - fClientDisableUDP change setting from 0 to 1
If you can't find fClientDisableUDP, create a new DWORD entry and set its value to 1.
Close Regedit and test.
If the problem persists, restart the computer and test.
Reference points for you to review:
It is recommended that if users do disable UDP that it is re-enabled once Microsoft releases the fix.
We are not confirming that the above is the root cause of all issues and will continue our own further investigations to rule out other root causes; however, we are sharing this knowledge, which is relevant to any Remote App or RDP users.
If the solution does not work after following these steps, open a case via the Customer Portal and reference the title of this article for further assistance.
