For leave based on contract hours, MicrOpay will calculate the leave accruals based on the employee's contract hours. This is regardless of what the employee has been paid.
Where leave is based on Hours Worked, then leave will accrue for the nominated pay components and leave reasons. For other leave, you also need to select the leave reasons that attract leave accruals. You need to refer to FairWork, State legislation, Awards or EBAs to verify what components you accrue leave on.

To update the Leave Reasons for leave based on hours worked, follow the steps below:
Go to Payroll, Maintenance, Leave and choose the Leave Type, e.g. Annual Leave.
Edit the leave class.
Ensure Other Leave has been selected in Hours Type.
Tick the Leave Reason in Other Leave Reason to include or untick the Leave Reason to exclude.
Click OK.
You may need to repeat these steps for other leave types and classes when a new leave reason is created.
