The field initial balance appears in the following:
Payroll, Transactions, General, Update Leave Entitlements
Payroll, Transactions, Adjustments, Leave Entitlement Adjustment
When selected, Initial Balance will capture an employee's total entitlement in the General Ledger, Leave Liability Batch.

When it is not selected, Initial Balance will capture the employee's accrual for the Leave Entitlement Date selected. This will enable the accrual movement to be calculated correctly for the period.
Note: If Initial Balance was selected by mistake, you'll need to Restore the Backup taken Before Pay Advices for the General Ledger, Leave Liability Batch, not to capture an employee's total entitlement.
