To facilitate fast data entry, MicrOpay automatically loads employee records in transaction entry. In larger databases or when employees have similar codes or names, this automatic loading can be too fast, resulting in the wrong employee being selected in the transaction.
You can turn off automatic loading, so the employee is not loaded until the Enter key is clicked.
The changes below will only affect the user who makes the change in the chosen Transaction screen (e.g., Extended Timesheet). For the same changes to be available to other users or in other Transaction screens (e.g., Manual Calculation), you will repeat the steps.
Turn off Automatic loading
Go to Payroll, Transactions, Processing.
Select the Transaction screen you want to change (e.g., Extended Transaction).
From the menu, click Options.
Select Change Form Options.
Make the required changes
Select View Transaction at Loading Transactions to stop the employee loading when you are entering the employee name or code. You will need to click Enter to load the employee.
Untick Automatically load the next employee to stop the next employee from being loaded once you've clicked Process.
Click OK. This will close the transaction screen, and the changes will take effect next time you open the screen.
